Cherry Pie for PI- Day

In celebration of PI-Day 3.1415… I am going to share one of my favorite recipes! My mom was a fabulous pie maker! She loved the crust, which I confess was never really my favorite part. That is why Pumpkin Pie was always one of my favorites- only one crust! The exception to that was my […]

2013 Wrap-Up

December is a time for reflection for me. I LOVE Christmas, and the lights, music, gifting, snow, and magic! It also is the winding down of the year, a month that reminds me of what I have gotten done, or failed to get done! A time to review, and plan what needs to be done […]

ALLER-MATES

I am so excited to share this company with you! I recently contacted AllerMates to invite them to the Food Allergy Bloggers Conference I am organizing. We all came to this meeting with no idea who the […]

It’s harder than Valentine’s Day or even Easter! Admittedly, many […]

Change is in the Air!

I know these changes will make our schools a better and safer environment for my children, as well as ALL the other current and future students who have food allergies! THAT is the real prize! That was the hope, the dream and the goal! Our work is not finished yet, but simply by speaking out- we have been able to influence others to improve the previous policies.

1st Grade Jitters

School will be starting here in a little over two weeks. In preparation of that I met with Caleb’s first grade teacher this morning just to introduce ourselves and talk about his food allergies, and to get to know her.  It is always a bit nerve-racking getting ready for school, getting all the paperwork updated […]

Premae Allergen-free Skincare

I am so pleased to share this lovely company I have been in contact with,  Premae Skincare.  Owner/founder Clare Eluka was kind enough to send me some samples of her Clemensy Balm to use on Jacob’s eczema. It is nice because it doesn’t sting or irritate his skin!  Based in UK, Premae  manufactures face and […]
